UK Firms MGS & Safetell agree joint venture partnership to help clients prepare for safe re-opening

MGS Ltd, a UK based provider of Aluminium, Door and Entrance systems is pleased to announce a new joint venture with Safetell Ltd, a physical security solution provider that will greatly assist mutual clients as they transform their premises to help protect staff and clients as they adapt and re-open workplaces.

Since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, many public facing businesses have changed or are planning to make adjustments to their property entrance and reception areas to facilitate social distancing trading requirements.

The two companies have joined together to produce Protective Reception Shield screen systems which provide a clear barrier between customers, staff and colleagues to reduce physical contact and encourage social distancing. Specifically designed for Commercial, Retail, Student and Hospitality environments, its unique clamp fixing or free standing facility allows the unit to be removed at a later date without damage to the existing reception area counter or desk.

The initiative will mean that both companies can share experience, product and access to markets that will ensure they can support their customers property transformation updates more effectively, as they prepare to re-open, helping to keep building visitors and staff safe where close transactions are necessary.

Jason Pease, Managing Director of MGS Ltd commented, “We have worked with Safetell on a number of other projects over the past 12 months and this is a great example of SME’s coming together to quickly produce a product which is different to others on the market.  Paul and I quickly agreed on all aspects of the Reception Shield product launch, which from initial design to manufacture, has taken only 2 weeks.”

Paul Lovell Managing Director at Safetell Ltd said, “From day one of our association with Jason and his team at MGS we have worked collaboratively bringing together our respective skill sets as one quality solution that will help shield and protect staff and visitors without any damage to premises.”
